PPA as part of the Danareksa SOE Holding, continuedto carry out its mandate of restructuring and revitalizing Persero Batam, which was evidenced by its presence at the inauguration of the Batam-China Direct Call “Maiden Voyage MV SITC Hakata Voy 2407N” on March 31, 2024 at the Batu Ampar Container Terminal, Batam. This step supports the transformation of Batu Ampar Port into a modern container terminal to increase efficiency, productivity, and connectivity of the international supply chain. The investments made include the procurement of Quay Cranes, Rubber-Tyred Gantries, container yard development, reclamation, and expansion of the north pier. PPA hopes that this cooperation will continue for the sake of national economic growth and the progress of Persero Batam.
