Jakarta, December 19, 2025 – PT Perusahaan Pengelola Aset (“PPA”), a member of the Danareksa SOE Holding, is committed to delivering sustainable value through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, focusing on three key pillars: education, Micro and Small Enterprise (MSE) empowerment, and the environment. This commitment aligns with PPA’s role as the government’s strategic instrument for restructuring and revitalization, ensuring PPA consistently contributes positively to Indonesia.
Throughout 2025, PPA successfully secured two awards in the field of MSE empowerment. Aruna Creative was awarded 3rd Place in the Local Heroes sub-category under the Sustainability category at the Indonesia Corporate Communication & Sustainability Summit (ICCS Summit). Additionally, PPA won 3rd Place in the Small Medium Enterprises (SME) Development sub-category under the Sustainability category at the same event, themed “Special MSE Care Program” (Program Peduli UMK Spesial).
These awards mark a significant milestone for Yuliana Fitri, the founder who transformed Aruna Creative into a “Special MSE” that offers a “complete package” within its ecosystem. Aruna utilizes eco-friendly natural fibers for production, employs a 100% female workforce in its workshop, and provides space for people with disabilities to contribute to unique and exclusive designs.
“Aruna Creative aims to make wastra nusantara (Indonesian heritage textiles) a bridge of sustainability connecting culture, environmental preservation, creative design and fashion, education, and equality with a vision of an inclusive future,” said Yuliana Fitri, Founder of Aruna Creative.
As the only State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) acting as a restructuring house, PPA has consistently supported MSEs with unique backgrounds and revitalization potential over the past five years. The TJSL program, titled “Special MSE Care,” has empowered MSEs led by ex-convicts, drug abuse survivors, disability advocates, environmental activists (plastic waste processing), and communities of female heads of households.
PPA President Director, M. Teguh Wirahadikusumah, stated, “PPA is committed to delivering benefits by fulfilling the mandate of our shareholders and exercising broad responsibility toward stakeholders, including through the TJSL program. This Special MSE program is our tangible contribution to society, aligning with the Economic Development Pillar by targeting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the sector of Decent Work and Economic Growth.”
Teguh detailed PPA’s three priorities and TJSL achievements in 2025. In the education sector, PPA implemented the Education and Health Support Program for 60 beneficiaries from outsourcing staff families within PPA, a Collaborative Scholarship Program for 50 employees within the Danareksa SOE Holding, assistance for the renovation of four elementary schools within the Danareksa SOE Holding environment, and the “Bintang Muda Lokananta” Music Education Incubation Program. In the latter, 12 beneficiaries participated in workshops and music industry mentorship, resulting in a compilation album release and a multi-city tour.
In the environment sector, PPA contributed to environmental preservation and greenhouse gas emission mitigation by planting 2,000 endemic and productive tree seedlings, constructing two waste processing centers in the Danareksa SOE Holding Industrial Area, and involving employees in plastic and clothing recycling activities to create value-added products. Meanwhile, in MSE empowerment, PPA disbursed program funds totaling Rp1 billion, accompanied by guidance and coaching for 30 fostered MSEs.
“We believe that business growth must go hand-in-hand with social welfare and environmental sustainability. Therefore, PPA will continue to be present through TJSL programs that impact human capital improvement, economic empowerment, and concrete actions for sustainability aligned with Asta Cita,” concluded Teguh.
